QUEENSRŸCHE Guitarist's WRATCHET HEAD: First Single Due Next Week
September 10, 2010WRATCHET HEAD, the project led by QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton, will release its first single, "Coming For You", on Tuesday, September 14 via iTunes. Mixed by renowned East Coast engineer Jonathan Wyman and mastered by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Adam Ayan, the track "offers the true metal fan a new spin on Michael's legendary sound of hard rock," according to a press release. "Add to that the uniquely talented Rane Stone on vocals, drummer Adam Clark, guitarist Jesse Paul, bassist Steve Jackson, and you are in for a real treat!"
"Coming For You" is described as "a prelude to an amazing, thought-provoking and well-written heavy rock album" which will appeal to "the millions of QUEENSRŸCHE fans who's ears have longed to once again be filled with the classic, melodic and sometimes haunting sounds of 'the earlier years.'"
There are also a limited amount of hard copies of "Coming for You" available for pre-order at www.wratchethead.com.
"Coming For You" will be featured on the Erik Buell Racing 1190RS EBR "teaser" commercial that will start its run on September 14, produced by Zen Film.
Rat Pak Records previously stated about hupcoming CD, "Without giving too much away, we can tell you that this new offering will in no way mirror any of Michael's recent work. From its musical conceptions to its presentation, WRATCHET HEAD will be an entirely new interpretation of exactly what you would hope and expect to hear from an artist whose roots run deep in the hard rock/heavy metal genres."
